The Platte Valley Broncos (Kersey, CO) basketball crushed the host Wellington Eagles (Wellington, CO), 88-37 in Thursday's league test.
The Broncos (5-8) will now prepare for their test against Estes Park (Estes Park, CO). The Bobcats go into the 3A Patriot test with a 7-5 record. In their last test, Estes Park walloped Rocky Mountain Prep SMART (Denver, CO), 56-42, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now own a 0-13 record. They play next when they travel to Frontier Academy for a 3A Patriot test on Tuesday, January 30. Wellington will encounter a Wolverines squad coming off a 89-49 league loss to Highland (Ault, CO). The Wolverines record now stands at 4-10.
