The Thomas Jefferson Academy Jaguars basketball team (Louisville, GA), was nudged 50-43 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Robert Toombs Christian Academy Crusaders (Lyons, GA)

The Crusaders now possess a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Twiggs Academy for a GIAA A Region 6 battle on Friday, January 26. Robert Toombs Christian Academy will confront a Trojans team coming off a 92-26 league loss to Memorial Day (Savannah, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 1-14.

The Jaguars (3-12) will now prepare for their battle against John Hancock Academy (Sparta, GA). The Rebels come into the GIAA A Region 4 battle with a 10-6 record. In their last battle, John Hancock Academy edged Alleluia Community (Augusta, GA), 67-59, in a non-league battle.
