Dublin Gaels (Dublin, CA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Amador Valley Dons (Pleasanton, CA), 42-38 in a league bout.

With the victory, Dublin upgrades its record to 19-3 on the campaign. The Gaels travel to Granada (Livermore, CA) to play the Matadors in a bout on Saturday, January 27. The Matadors come into the bout with a record of 1-4. Granada lost 48-38 in their recent league bout against California (San Ramon, CA)
