The Academy Charter (Lake Como, NJ) basketball crushed the visiting Lakewood Piners (Lakewood, NJ), 61-25 in Thursday's non-league test.
The (3-2) will now prepare for their test against Academy for Urban Leadership Charter (Perth Amboy, NJ). The Jaguars go into the Freelance test with a 0-6 record. In their last test, Academy for Urban Leadership Charter was trounced by Keansburg (Keansburg, NJ), 51-21, in a non-league test.
The Piners now own a 2-10 record. They play next when they travel to St. Joseph for a non-league test on Monday, January 29.
