Amsterdam Rams (Amsterdam, NY) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Schuylerville Horses (Schuylerville, NY), 65-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Amsterdam upgrades its record to 7-7 on the season. The Rams travel to Broadalbin-Perth (Broadalbin, NY) to clash with the Patriots in a Section 2 Foothills bout on Monday, January 29. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 13-3. Broadalbin-Perth won 69-7 in their recent league bout against Johnstown (Johnstown, NY)

Next up, the Horses clash with the Gloversville Huskies/Dragons (Gloversville, NY) in a Section 2 Foothills bout, on Monday, January 29. Schuylerville will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record.
