Wayne Trace Raiders (Haviland, OH) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Antwerp Archers (Antwerp, OH), 37-29 in a league bout.

With the win, Wayne Trace upgrades its record to 10-6 on the season. The Raiders travel to Edgerton (Edgerton, OH) to clash with the Bulldogs in a Green Meadows bout on Thursday, February 1. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 7-9. Edgerton won 45-41 in their recent league bout against Fairview (Sherwood, OH)

Next up, the Archers clash with the Pettisville Blackbirds (Pettisville, OH) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Antwerp will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record. The Blackbirds go into the bout with a 11-6 record after their 56-41 league win over Edon (Edon, OH).
