Nebraska High School Basketball - Marian overwhelmed by Bellevue West

January 25, 2024: Bellevue, NE 68123

The Bellevue West Thunderbirds basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting Marian Crusaders to 40 in the Thunderbirds league victory on Thursday.

The Thunderbirds now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kearney for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 27. Bellevue West will battle a Bearcats team coming off a 68-37 non-league loss to Lincoln North Star (Lincoln, NE). The Bearcats record now stands at 8-6.

The Crusaders (11-4) will now prepare for their contest against Pius X (Lincoln, NE). The Thunderbolts come into the A District TBD contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Pius X was routed by Skutt Catholic (Omaha, NE), 62-38, in a non-league contest.
