In Thursday's non-league outing, the Bishop Watterson Eagles (Columbus, OH) basketball squad nipped the visiting Tri-Valley Scotties (Dresden, OH), by a margin of 49-42.
The Eagles (10-5) will now prepare for their outing against Canal Winchester (Canal Winchester, OH). The Indians go into the non-league outing with a 14-4 record. In their last outing, Canal Winchester got by Dublin Scioto (Dublin, OH), 62-40, in a league outing.
The Scotties now own a 12-5 record. They play next when they host Maysville for a Muskingum Valley outing on Saturday, January 27. Tri-Valley will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 65-23 league loss to Sheridan (Thornville, OH). The Panthers record now stands at 5-10.
