Minnesota High School Basketball - Hill City/Northland crushes Cherry

Hill City/Northland (Hill City, MN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Cherry Tigers (Iron, MN), 62-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Hill City/Northland upgrades its record to 10-8 on the season. The travel to Laporte (Laporte, MN) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 2-31. Laporte lost 40-34 in their recent non-league bout against Westville (Westville, IN)

Next up, the Tigers play the East Central Eagles (Sandstone, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Cherry will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 4-14 record after their 65-46 league loss to Hinckley-Finlayson (Hinckley, MN).
