The Eagles enter the game with a 16-8 record after their 56-8 non-league win over Sequoia Pathway Academy (Maricopa, AZ).

With the defeat, Cicero Prep Academy moves to 4-12 on the year. The Centurions travel to Lincoln Prep (Chandler, AZ) to face the Lightning in a 1A East game on Saturday, January 27. The Lightning enter the game with a record of 18-6. Lincoln Prep won 39-9 in their recent non-league game against North Valley Christian Academy (Phoenix, AZ)
