Collinwood Trojans (Collinwood, TN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Wilson Warriors (Florence, AL), 50-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Collinwood upgrades its record to 6-6 on the season. The Trojans host Perry County (Linden, TN) to play the Vikings in a 1A District 11 bout on Friday, January 26. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 9-4. Perry County lost 49-43 in their recent non-league bout against Summertown (Summertown, TN)

Next up, the Warriors play the Rogers Pirates (Florence, AL) in a 4A Area 16 bout, on Friday, January 26. Wilson will attempt to upgrade on its 10-14 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 12-9 record after their 68-43 league loss to Deshler (Tuscumbia, AL).
