Perry Commodores (Lima, OH) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Cory-Rawson Fighting Hornets (Rawson, OH), 45-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Perry upgrades its record to 12-4 on the season. The Commodores travel to Waynesfield-Goshen (Waynesfield, OH) to clash with the Tigers in a Northwest Central bout on Thursday, February 1. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 9-8.

Next up, the Fighting Hornets clash with the McComb Panthers (McComb, OH) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 27. Cory-Rawson will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 11-5 record after their 45-28 league win over Arcadia (Arcadia, OH).
