The Mother McAuley Mighty Macs basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the visiting Lincoln-Way Central Knights to 38 in the Mighty Macs non-league victory on Thursday.

The Mighty Macs now sport a 19-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rosary for a non-league contest on Monday, January 29. Mother McAuley will battle a Royals team coming off a 38-31 non-league win over Hall (Spring Valley, IL). The Royals record now stands at 8-14.

The Knights (14-10) will now prepare for their contest against Stagg (Palos Hills, IL). The Chargers come into the SouthWest Suburban - Red contest with a 16-9 record. In their last contest, Stagg edged Bradley-Bourbonnais (Bradley, IL), 45-28, in a league contest.
