The Maple River Eagles (Mapleton, MN) basketball knocked off the host Tri-State co-op [Rosholt/Fairmount/Campbell-Tintah] Tigers (Rosholt, SD), 61-50 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Eagles (25-9) will now prepare for their test against Randolph (Randolph, MN). The Rockets go into the non-league test with a 7-9 record. In their last test, Randolph went down by Bethlehem Academy (Faribault, MN), 44-31, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 4-9 record. They play next when they host Maple Valley for a B District 1 test on Thursday, January 25. Tri-State co-op [Rosholt/Fairmount/Campbell-Tintah] will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 75-49 league win over Richland (Colfax, ND). The Raiders record now stands at 9-2.
