The Wasatch Academy Tigers basketball team (Mt. Pleasant, UT), was overwhelmed 52-13 in Thursday's league battle with the host Merit Preparatory Academy Knights (Springville, UT)

The Knights now possess a 7-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Intermountain Christian for a 2A Region 16 battle on Friday, January 26. Merit Preparatory Academy will confront a Lions team coming off a 58-8 league win over Wasatch Academy (Mt. Pleasant, UT). The Lions record now stands at 7-4.

The Tigers (1-7) will now prepare for their battle against Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams (Lehi, UT). The Marauders come into the 2A Region 16 battle with a 4-7 record.
