In Thursday's league outing, the Thornton Fractional North Meteors (Calumet City, IL) basketball squad beat the host Richards Bulldogs (Oak Lawn, IL), by a margin of 62-47.

The Meteors (16-10) will now prepare for their outing against Lemont (Lemont, IL). The Lemont HS go into the South Suburban - Blue outing with a 9-11 record. In their last outing, Lemont defeated Oak Forest (Oak Forest, IL), 47-34, in a league outing.

The Bulldogs now own a 8-12 record. They play next when they host Riverside-Brookfield for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 27. Richards will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 54-48 non-league win over Willowbrook (Villa Park, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 13-12.
