Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Thomas Jefferson Jaguars (Jefferson Hills, PA) and the host Penn-Trafford Warriors (Harrison City, PA), saw Thomas Jefferson's basketball squad hold off Penn-Trafford by a tally of 33-28.

With the victory, Thomas Jefferson improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Oakland Catholic (Pittsburgh, PA) to play the in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 29. The come into the challenge with a record of 1-0.

Next up, the Warriors play the Montour Spartans (McKees Rocks, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Penn-Trafford will attempt to improve on its 8-4 season record.
