The Firebirds now sport a 10-4 record. They play next when they host Cactus Shadows for a 5A Northeast Valley test on Tuesday, January 30. Chaparral will meet a Falcons squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Horizon (Scottsdale, AZ). The Falcons record now stands at 14-1.

With the loss, Desert Edge drops to 15-3 on the season. The Scorpions travel to Canyon View (Waddell, AZ) to meet the Jaguars in a 5A Desert West test on Tuesday, January 30. The Jaguars come into the test with a record of 10-5. Canyon View won 5-0 in their recent league test against La Joya Community (Avondale, AZ)
