Kentucky High School Basketball - Nicholas County fells Bluegrass United

Nicholas County Bluejackets (Carlisle, KY) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Bluegrass United Bluehawks (Lexington, KY), 47-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Nicholas County upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Bluejackets host Harrison County (Cynthiana, KY) to clash with the Thorobreds in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 31. The Thorobreds go into the bout with a record of 0-1.

Next up, the Bluehawks clash with the Louisville Saints HomeSchool Saints (Louisville, KY) in a bout, on Saturday, January 27. Bluegrass United will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Saints go into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 60-52 non-league loss to Beth Haven (Louisville, KY).
