Dawson School Mustangs (Lafayette, CO) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Clear Creek Golddiggers (Evergreen, CO), 27-25 in a league bout.

With the win, Dawson School upgrades its record to 2-7 on the season. The Mustangs host Denver Christian (Denver, CO) to clash with the Thunder in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Thunder go into the bout with a record of 5-2.

Next up, the Golddiggers clash with the Dayspring Christian Academy Eagles (Greeley, CO) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Clear Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 60-23 league win over Gilpin County (Black Hawk, CO).
