Next, the Mountain Lions face the Pinnacle Pioneers (Phoenix, AZ) in a 6A Desert Valley challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Mountain Ridge will attempt to better on its 9-4 season record. The Pioneers enter the challenge with a 6-6 record after their 2-1 league loss to Boulder Creek (Anthem, AZ).

The Eagles now have a 10-8 record. They take the field next when they host Liberty for a 6A Desert Valley challenge on Tuesday, January 30. O'Connor will face a Lions team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Sunnyslope (Phoenix, AZ). The Lions record now stands at 6-6.
