The Adair County Indians (Columbia, KY) basketball crushed the visiting Metcalfe County Hornets (Edmonton, KY), 87-49 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Indians now possess a 15-4 record. They play next when they host Campbellsville for a District 20 bout on Friday, January 31.

With the loss, Metcalfe County falls to 6-12 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Glasgow (Glasgow, KY) to play the Scotties in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 28. The Scotties go into the bout with a record of 3-13. Glasgow lost 40-38 in their recent league bout against Barren County (Glasgow, KY)
