The Anderson County Bearcats basketball squad (Lawrenceburg, KY), was outscored 52-39 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Simon Kenton Pioneers (Independence, KY)

With the victory, Simon Kenton advances its record to 14-5 on the year. The Pioneers host Ryle (Union, KY) to meet the Raiders in a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 28. The Raiders enter the battle with a record of 7-8. Ryle won 81-65 in their recent non-league battle against Western Hills (Frankfort, KY)

The Bearcats now own a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bullitt Central for a non-league battle on Monday, January 27. Anderson County will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 99-59 non-league loss to Fairdale (Fairdale, KY). The Cougars record now stands at 7-12.
