Kansas High School Basketball - Great Bend victorious over Andover

In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Great Bend Panthers basketball team scored a good 61-45 triumph over the Andover Trojans.

The Panthers (11-1) will now prepare for their contest against Thomas More Prep-Marian (Hays, KS). The Monarchs go into the non-league contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Thomas More Prep-Marian topped Phillipsburg (Phillipsburg, KS), 56-45, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Trojans battle the Salina Central Mustangs (Salina, KS) in a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail II contest, on Thursday, January 30. Andover will attempt to better on its 7-3 season record. The Mustangs go into the contest with a 5-5 record after their 54-49 non-league loss to Great Bend (Great Bend, KS).
