The Belleville West Maroons (Belleville, IL) basketball crushed the host McCluer Comets (Florissant, MO), 69-41 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Maroons now possess a 10-10 record. They play next when they travel to Belleville East for a Southwestern bout on Tuesday, January 28.
With the loss, McCluer falls to 0-17 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Marquette (Chesterfield, MO) to play the Mustangs in a Suburban - Yellow bout on Tuesday, January 28. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 10-2.
