In Saturday's non-league test, the Peninsula Catholic Knights (Newport News, VA) basketball squad got by the visiting Benedictine Cadets (Richmond, VA), by a score of 59-58.

Next, the Knights encounter the Norfolk Collegiate Mighty Oaks (Norfolk, VA) in a VISAA Division II test, on Tuesday, January 28. Peninsula Catholic will attempt to improve on its 15-8 season record. The Mighty Oaks come into the test with a 9-4 record after their 53-33 league win over Hampton Roads Academy (Newport News, VA).

The Cadets (7-13) will now prepare for their test against Trinity Episcopal (Richmond, VA). The Titans come into the Virginia Prep test with a 12-4 record. In their last test, Trinity Episcopal held off Prince George's Christian Academy Blue (Landover, MD), 78-57, in a non-league game.
