The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Blazer Tomcats (Ashland, KY) and the visiting Pikeville Panthers (Pikeville, KY), observed Blazer's basketball team knock off Pikeville by a score of 79-60.

The Tomcats (13-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Boyd County (Ashland, KY). The Lions come into the District 64 challenge with a 8-7 record.

In their next game, the Panthers encounter the Shelby Valley Wildcats (Pikeville, KY) in a District 59 game, on Tuesday, January 28. Pikeville will attempt to move on its 6-6 season record.
