Washington High School Basketball - Burlington-Edison nips Ferndale

In Saturday's league contest, the host Burlington-Edison Tigers basketball team scored a close 64-58 triumph over the Ferndale Golden Eagles.
The Tigers (10-5) will now prepare for their contest against Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, WA). The Bulldogs go into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest contest with a 6-9 record. In their last contest, Mount Vernon nipped Sehome (Bellingham, WA), 56-43, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Golden Eagles battle the Meridian Trojans (Bellingham, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest contest, on Tuesday, January 28. Ferndale will attempt to better on its 8-8 season record. The Trojans go into the contest with a 10-6 record after their 77-62 league loss to Lakewood (Arlington, WA).
