Westlake Academy Blacksmiths (Westlake, TX) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Burton Adventist Academy Angels (Arlington, TX), 68-16 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Westlake Academy advances its record to 8-10 on the year. The Blacksmiths travel to Hill County (Hillsboro, TX) to face the Wolves in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 28. The Wolves enter the match with a record of 0-5.
The Angels now own a 0-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lakehill Prep for a TAPPS 3A District 2 match on Thursday, January 30.
