Connecticut High School Basketball - Middletown fells Capital Prep

The Middletown Blue Dragons basketball team scored 77 points and limited the host Capital Prep Trailblazers to 66 in the Blue Dragons non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Blue Dragons now have a 3-7 record. They play next when they host Platt for a Central Connecticut - South Colonial game on Monday, January 27. Middletown will confront a Panthers team coming off a 105-28 non-league loss to RHAM (Hebron, CT). The Panthers record now stands at 5-4.
With the loss, Capital Prep falls to 2-10 on the campaign. The Trailblazers travel to Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy (Hartford, CT) to confront the Phoenix in a Capitol Region game on Tuesday, January 28. The Phoenix go into the game with a record of 1-8.
