The Lightning (13-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Rise Academy (Richmond, VA). The Guardians come into the non-league challenge with a 12-5 record. In their last challenge, Rise Academy trounced The Carmel School (Ruther Glen, VA), 70-63, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Yellowjackets encounter the Indian Creek Eagles (Crownsville, MD) in a MIAA B - Black challenge, on Monday, January 27. Chapelgate Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 7-13 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 4-17 record after their 74-60 non-league loss to St. Paul's (Brooklandville, MD).
