Cherry Tigers (Iron, MN) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting North Community Polars (Minneapolis, MN), 85-66 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Cherry advances its record to 22-0 on the year. The Tigers travel to Chisholm (Chisholm, MN) to face the Bluestreaks in a A Section 7 match on Tuesday, January 28. The Bluestreaks enter the match with a record of 4-10.
The Polars now own a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Cloud Tech for a non-league match on Monday, February 3.
