The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Virginia High Bearcats (Bristol, VA) and the visiting Chilhowie Warriors (Chilhowie, VA), observed Virginia High's basketball team overwhelm Chilhowie by a margin of 79-52.

The Bearcats (11-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Martinsville (Martinsville, VA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 7-9 record. In their last challenge, Martinsville was trounced by Virginia High (Bristol, VA), 61-29, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Warriors battle the Northwood Panthers (Saltville, VA) in a Hogoheegee challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Chilhowie will attempt to better on its 9-6 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 5-7 record after their 88-38 league loss to Patrick Henry (Glade Spring, VA).
