The Clarkson/Leigh Patriots basketball squad (Clarkson, NE), was crushed 60-38 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Wakefield Trojans (Wakefield, NE)

With the victory, Wakefield advances its record to 8-7 on the year. The Trojans travel to Crofton (Crofton, NE) to meet the Warriors in a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 28. The Warriors enter the battle with a record of 3-13. Crofton lost 55-48 in their recent non-league battle against Hartington-Newcastle (Hartington, NE)

The Patriots now own a 2-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wisner-Pilger for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 28. Clarkson/Leigh will meet a Gators squad coming off a 70-44 non-league loss to West Point-Beemer (West Point, NE). The Gators record now stands at 2-14.
