In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington Blue Jays basketball team scored a good 65-50 triumph over the Clay Panthers.
The Blue Jays (2-13) will now prepare for their contest against West Union (West Union, OH). The Dragons go into the Southern Hills contest with a 4-10 record. In their last contest, West Union topped East (Sciotoville, OH), 74-34, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Notre Dame Titans (Portsmouth, OH) in a Southern Ohio I contest, on Tuesday, January 28. Clay will attempt to better on its 0-14 season record. The Titans go into the contest with a 9-3 record after their 72-31 league win over East (Sciotoville, OH).
