The Crested Butte Titans (Crested Butte, CO) basketball crushed the visiting Trinidad Miners (Trinidad, CO), 70-42 in Saturday's league bout.
The Titans now possess a 5-4 record. They play next when they host Gunnison for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 28. Crested Butte will play a Cowboys team coming off a 57-32 league loss to North Fork (Hotchkiss, CO). The Cowboys record now stands at 5-7.
With the loss, Trinidad falls to 3-7 on the campaign. The Miners travel to Sanford (Sanford, CO) to play the Mustangs in a 3A/2A Southern Peaks game on Friday, January 31. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 10-4. Sanford won 65-17 in their recent non-league game against South Park (Fairplay, CO)
