The Dunbar Wolverines basketball team scored 70 points and limited the visiting Ponitz Career Tech Golden Panthers to 41 in the Wolverines league triumph on Saturday.

The Wolverines now have a 10-8 record. They play next when they travel to Thurgood Marshall for a Dayton Public game on Friday, January 31.

With the loss, Ponitz Career Tech falls to 0-17 on the campaign. The Golden panthers host Taft (Cincinnati, OH) to confront the Senators in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 28. The Senators go into the game with a record of 10-3. Taft won 92-53 in their recent non-league game against Linden-McKinley (Columbus, OH)
