In Saturday's non-league test, the Eastern Vikings (Voorhees, NJ) basketball squad got by the host St. Augustine Prep Hermits (Richland, NJ), by a score of 47-40.
Next, the Vikings encounter the Lenape Indians (Medford, NJ) in a Freelance test, on Tuesday, January 28. Eastern will attempt to improve on its 13-4 season record. The Indians come into the test with a 11-4 record after their 52-34 non-league loss to Manasquan (Manasquan, NJ).
The Hermits (8-10) will now prepare for their test against Mainland Regional (Linwood, NJ). The Mustangs come into the non-league test with a 3-11 record. In their last test, Mainland Regional held off Cedar Creek (Egg Harbor City, NJ), 49-40, in a league test.
