Illinois High School Basketball - SIUE East St. Louis Charter fells First Baptist Academy

The SIUE East St. Louis Charter Cougars basketball team scored 66 points and limited the host First Baptist Academy to 56 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Cougars now have a 6-9 record. They play next when they travel to Metro-East Lutheran for a non-league game on Wednesday, January 29. SIUE East St. Louis Charter will confront a Knights team coming off a 46-42 non-league loss to Collinsville (Collinsville, IL). The Knights record now stands at 11-9.
With the loss, First Baptist Academy falls to 10-10 on the campaign. The host Lovejoy (Lovejoy, IL) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 28. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 0-8.
