Howard Tigers (Howard, SD) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Florence/Henry Falcons (Florence, SD), 54-44 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Howard upgrades its record to 9-3 on the year. The Tigers travel to Ethan (Ethan, SD) to face the Rustlers in a B Region 3 match on Friday, January 31. The Rustlers enter the match with a record of 7-5.
The Falcons now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Arlington for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 28. Florence/Henry will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 59-42 non-league loss to Ortonville (Ortonville, MN). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-8.
