The Jamestown Bluejays basketball squad (Jamestown, ND), was outscored 78-69 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Moorhead Spuds (Moorhead, MN)
With the victory, Moorhead advances its record to 12-4 on the year. The Spuds travel to Bemidji (Bemidji, MN) to meet the Lumberjacks in a AAAA Section 8 battle on Thursday, January 30. The Lumberjacks enter the battle with a record of 8-3.
The Bluejays now own a 0-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Century for a AA West battle on Tuesday, January 28. Jamestown will meet a Patriots squad coming off a 84-75 league loss to Bismarck (Bismarck, ND). The Patriots record now stands at 11-1.
