In Saturday's non-league test, the Joliet Catholic Hilltoppers (Joliet, IL) basketball squad defeated the visiting Plainfield Central Wildcats (Plainfield, IL), by a final score of 58-39.
Next, the Hilltoppers clash with the Nazareth Academy Roadrunners (LaGrange Park, IL) in a East Suburban Catholic test, on Friday, January 31. Joliet Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Roadrunners come into the test with a 9-12 record after their 50-38 non-league loss to Proviso East (Maywood, IL).
The Wildcats (1-21) will now prepare for their test against Plainfield North (Plainfield, IL). The Tigers come into the SouthWest Prairie test with a 11-9 record. In their last test, Plainfield North overcame Joliet Central (Joliet, IL), 65-40, in a league test.
