Illinois High School Basketball - Libertyville toppled by Rolling Meadows

Rolling Meadows Mustangs (Rolling Meadows, IL) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Libertyville Wildcats (Libertyville, IL), 63-44 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Rolling Meadows advances its record to 19-3 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Prospect (Mt. Prospect, IL) to face the Knights in a Mid-Suburban - East match on Tuesday, January 28. The Knights enter the match with a record of 10-12. Prospect lost 71-60 in their recent non-league match against Stevenson (Lincolnshire, IL)

The Wildcats now own a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lake Zurich for a North Suburban match on Tuesday, January 28. Libertyville will face a Bears squad coming off a 54-38 non-league loss to Carmel (Mundelein, IL). The Bears record now stands at 10-11.
