The Link Academy Lions defeated the visiting Shawnee Mission Northwest Cougars basketball squad by a final score of 65-52 in Saturday's non-league outing.

Next, the Lions clash with the Columbus Explorers (Miami, FL) in a non-league outing, on Friday, January 31. Link Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 16-5 season record.

The Cougars (8-2) will now prepare for their outing against Olathe North (Olathe, KS). The Eagles come into the Sunflower outing with a 7-1 record. In their last outing, Olathe North overcame Hays (Hays, KS), 63-39, in a non-league outing.
