The Mathews Blue Devils basketball team scored 75 points and limited the visiting Rappahannock Raiders to 60 in the Blue Devils non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Blue Devils now possess a 11-4 record. They play next when they travel to Colonial Beach for a non-league game on Monday, January 27. Mathews will play a Drifters team coming off a 48-41 league win over Westmoreland (Montross, VA). The Drifters record now stands at 5-7.

With the loss, Rappahannock falls to 1-9 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Middlesex (Saluda, VA) to play the Chargers in a non-league game on Monday, January 27. The Chargers go into the game with a record of 9-5. Middlesex won 60-49 in their recent league game against Carver College and Career Academy (Chester, VA)
