The North Central Texas Academy Pioneers (Granbury, TX) basketball crushed the visiting May Tigers (May, TX), 94-49 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Pioneers now possess a 24-7 record. They play next when they host Legion Preparatory Academy for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 28. North Central Texas Academy will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 54-35 non-league loss to Dallas Christian (Mesquite, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-5.
With the loss, May falls to 23-2 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Cross Plains (Cross Plains, TX) to play the Buffaloes in a 1A Region III District 21 bout on Tuesday, January 28. The Buffaloes go into the bout with a record of 14-6. Cross Plains won 48-40 in their recent league bout against Sidney (Sidney, TX)
