Ohio High School Basketball - South Range bests Mohawk Area

The South Range Raiders basketball team scored 65 points and limited the visiting Mohawk Area Warriors to 51 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Raiders now possess a 12-2 record. They play next when they travel to Lakeview for a Northeast 8 game on Tuesday, January 28. South Range will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 61-51 non-league loss to Jefferson Area (Jefferson, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-8.

With the loss, Mohawk Area falls to 12-4 on the campaign. The Warriors host Ellwood City (Ellwood City, PA) to play the Wolverine in a WPIAL 3A 1 match on Tuesday, January 28. The Wolverine enter the match with a record of 12-6. Ellwood City won 59-54 in their recent non-league match against Carlynton (Carnegie, PA)
