Kansas High School Basketball - Parsons can't hold off New Heights Christian Academy

New Heights Christian Academy Cougars (Joplin, MO) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Parsons Vikings (Parsons, KS), 76-73 in a non-league match.

With the victory, New Heights Christian Academy advances its record to 12-4 on the year. The Cougars travel to Verona (Verona, MO) to face the Wildcats in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 28. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 1-16.

The Vikings now own a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pittsburg for a Southeast Kansas match on Tuesday, January 28. Parsons will face a Dragons squad coming off a 0-0 non-league West (Wichita, KS). The Dragons record now stands at 4-5.
