The Sayre Eagles basketball team scored 47 points and limited the host Okeene Whippets to 44 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Eagles now have a 4-12 record. They play next when they travel to Navajo for a Shortgrass game on Friday, January 31.
With the loss, Okeene falls to 6-10 on the campaign. The Whippets travel to Dover (Dover, OK) to confront the Longhorns in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 28. The Longhorns go into the game with a record of 14-2. Dover won 23-16 in their recent league game against Pond Creek-Hunter (Pond Creek, OK)
