Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Wings Academy can't get by Sankofa Freedom Academy

The Wings Academy Wings basketball squad (Bronx, NY), was nudged 65-59 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Sankofa Freedom Academy Warriors (Philadelphia, PA)

With the victory, Sankofa Freedom Academy advances its record to 11-7 on the year. The Warriors host Samuel Fels (Philadelphia, PA) to meet the Panthers in a Philadelphia Public - Independence battle on Monday, January 27. The Panthers enter the battle with a record of 11-7. Samuel Fels won 91-70 in their recent non-league battle against Germantown Friends (Philadelphia, PA)

The Wings now own a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brandeis for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 28. Wings Academy will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 59-48 non-league win over Kennedy (Bronx, NY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-6.
